THE owners of Reading FC are to subsidise the cost of tickets to the Emirates FA Cup third-round clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Miss Xiu Li Dai and brother Dai Yongge are eager to keep price down for supporters for the clash on Saturday, January 5.
Premier League giants United are charging Reading fans between £37 and £45 for an adult ticket to watch the match.
But a donation from Royals’ owners now means supporters will not pay more than £30.
Reading have received an initial allocation of 3,534 tickets for the third-round tie.
Tickets go on sale to season ticket holders and half-season ticket holders on Monday, December 17.
Any remaining tickets will then go on sale to members and non-members, depending on how many loyalty points they have.
