Blues Swifts started well against Angels but only scored two goals in the third quarter and allowed their opponents to push on and secured a 38-24 victory.

On the next court, Windsor were taken to their limits by Pandair, who steadily increased their goal difference in each quarter, similarly pulling away in the third period to condemn the defending champions to their first defeat (36-24) in almost two seasons.

Mavericks ran out 36-24 winners against Phoenix Pinkz with great shooting from the unstoppable Brenda Lacey. The match winners steadied the game and increased their advantage throughout the four quarters.
