SPORTSABLE have 10 spaces available for their free Have A Go Swimming lesson at the Magnet Leisure Centre in Maidenhead on Sunday, February 4 (5-6pm).
SportsAble has run the event for two years now and helped disabled people of all ages learn to enjoy the water again.
People who have had disabilities from birth, or who have acquired an impairment later on in life due to accident or illness, find swimming difficult without specialist support and advice. They also find public swimming sessions too daunting.
SportsAble provide a private and dedicated session run by several qualified disability swim coaches and one-on-one volunteer assistance in the water.
The club has all the necessary adapted equipment and know-how to really give disabled people a fun and positive experience in the water.
