CUPCAKES decorated as bats, spiders, ghosts and ghouls have helped raise funds to support those with cancer.
The creepy cake sale at University Hospital of Hartlepool was organised by staff from Bannatyne Lodge Care Home, on Manor Way, in Peterlee.
Dozens of ghostly creations floated away to raise £91 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Home manager Lynn McMillan said: “The event was a huge success, as we managed to sell all our cakes, and raise a good amount for Macmillan Cancer Support.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to Christine Young, our resident hairdresser, for making our Halloween cakes.
“They were a hit with staff and visitors at the hospital in Hartlepool.”
