NICK Knowles and his team at BBC’s DIY SOS are appealing for a steel fabricator.
The team who are partnered with Blackburn children’s charity, Nightsafe, posted on twitter to urge people in Blackburn with Darwen to get involved in helping transform a church building for accommodation for vulnerable youth.
Nick posted to twitter: “We need a steel fabricator in the Blackburn area for Children in Need
Can anyone help?”
The team will transform a building of St. Silas’s Church on Preston New Road to turn it into short term accommodation for at risk 16-18-year-olds.
Along with interior designer Gabrielle Blackman, The Big Build BBC Children in Need Special are headed to Blackburn to work with Nightsafe from Tuesday, September 3-12.
The DIY SOS still need a steel fabricator and other tradespeople for nine days.
