TWO people have been taken to hospital with injuries following a road traffic collision.
Fire crews from Barnoldswick and Clitheroe attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on the A59 near Gisburn at 1.34pm.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Firefighters administered first aid to three casualties and one casualty received treatment from paramedics.
"All casualties were transferred to hospital by ambulance."
One woman sustained chest injuries while another person was treated for hip and hand injuries.
The patients were take to Royal Preston Hospital and Royal Blackburn Hospital.
The crews were in attendance for around one and a half hours.
