WARRINGTON skipper Chris Hill has been handed a two-match penalty notice for his challenge on Saints centre Mark Percival during Friday's game.

In handing out a Grade C charge the match review panel declared: "In effecting a tackle, uses a part of body to bend or apply unnecessary pressure to head/neck or spinal column, so as to keep the tackled player at a disadvantage."

Jack Hughes, who was sin-binned for his challenge on Tommy Makinson, has been handed a caution.

The review panel in this case noted: "In the 54th minute, the opponent attempts to run through. The player makes contact with the head of the opponent, his arm is tucked and there is no attempt to tackle or wrap player with the arms.

"The initial contact is with the arm and secondary contact is with head. The attacker however slips low prior to contact."

Saints packman Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook has also been cautioned for disputing the decision of a match official, namely drawing attention to the touch judge the Hill tackle on Percival.

The notes state: "As a result of previous tackle (Hill), the Player waves arms and shouts in direction of linesman. The player repeats this a second time and points finger in direction of linesman."

It states: "In the third minute, the player makes contact with the opponent as he runs towards him.

"The contact is left shoulder to left shoulder. The opponent however tackles with his head quite high.

"The opponent falls backwards. The Player is looking through the line and not to target the opponent. Outcome of contact accidental."
