TWO cars crashed on the A259 at rush-hour.
The two vehicles collided on the A259 eastbound between B2123 High Street (Saltdean) and Hamsey Road (Telscombe Cliffs).
A passer-by said: "There was extensive damage to both cars.
"The car in front had a huge smash in the back and the bumper was hanging off the silver car behind.
"When I went past both cars were being taken away.
"I hope everyone is ok. It always seems strange to see cars crashing on that busy road but I suppose it's a warning to all of us of the dangers."
The accident has now been cleared.
