AN AIR ambulance has been seen hovering low above a park in Breightmet as police deal with an incident.
Two police cars, as well as a police van, two paramedic rapid response vehicles and an ambulance were spotted at the scene on Withins Lane.
The air ambulance appeared to be trying to land on Dome Park, off Fairmount Avenue and Toronto Street, a few hundred metres away from the location of the incident.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance service confirmed paramedics have attended the scene and that the incident had occurred at a private residence.
She added: "We received the call at 10.05am and the patient was taken to hospital.
"Due to privacy procedures, she could not disclose whether the patient was adult or child, male or female."
