YOUNGSTERS are being encouraged to learn about the wildlife around them.

Nature Mums, held at the Hive in Moss Bank Park this weekend, gives parents and children a chance to engage with the natural world.

The event will begin at 11am on Sunday, May 5, and run until 3.30pm, with tickets priced at £1 each.

Children are tasked with learning about native species and matching young animals with their parents.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Lancashire Wildlife Trust and parents are advised that booking is not required.
