A GENEROUS couple have now raised more than £80,000 for charity following their latest round of donations.
Molly and Alan Denton gathered another £5,000 to give to Help for Heroes, thanks to the help of members at Denton Dancing & Social Club.
The club, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary later this year, meets regularly at Tilehurst Youth Centre.
Mrs Denton said: "Sadly, last year we lost many of our dancers who came around the homes and clubs with us, so we are unable to do this now, but we would like to thank everyone who invited us to entertain them, for their hospitality.
"We still hold our tea dances every Friday and every other Saturday at the Triangle."
The fundraising total for Help for Heroes alone is £58,500 and a further £1,000 was given to the Royal Berkshire Hospital's Oncology Ward.
