Pupils from The Windsor Boys School will be 'rowing' from London to Paris tomorrow (Saturday) to raise money for the Alexander Devine children's hospice charity.

But they will be doing it all within the confines of the Windsor Royal Shopping centre.

The lads are all aged between 13 and 18 years old. They will be out in force between 10am and 5pm outside All Bar One in the Windsor Royal Station shopping precinct.

Using a rowing machine they plan to cover the distance between the two capital cities.

It is the 10th time that this hugely successful fundraising event has been held. Its aim is to raise money to raise money for the school boat house as well as for the charity.

If you would like to sponsor the boys online, you can do so via their fundraising page: https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/rowtotheolympicvenueparis

Mark Wilkinson, director of rowing at The Windsor Boys’ School, said: “It’s great that the boys will be out raising money not just for the boat club but for a very important local charity — the day will be tough but I know the boys will take on the challenge as ever with real determination.”
