The INDOOR water park in Bracknell experienced a flood in the plant room which then caused a power cut, causing damage to the pumps that power the main flumes.

While full power has been restored to the leisure centre, builders are still on site trying to fix the problem and get the two flumes up and running.

Coral Reef Water World are ensuring customers are aware of the reduced facilities before booking a swimming session and are offering a discounted rate on all Swim with Flume sessions.

Mark Tennant, Everyone’s Active contract manager said: “We experienced a flood in the plant room that coincided with a recent power cut. This caused damage to pumps that power two of the centre’s flumes.”

Three of the five flumes and all other water featured at Coral Reef Water World remain open as usual.

Mark added “While the substation has since been repaired and full power has been restored to the building, we are still working to fix the issue in the plant room.

“We have taken all possible steps to ensure customers are aware of the reduced facilities prior to booking a session and are also offering a discounted rate on all Swim with Flume sessions while the two flumes remain closed.

“We appreciate this situation is frustrating for customers. We apologise for any inconvenience and want to assure them that we are working alongside Bracknell Forest Council to get the two flumes up and running as soon as possible.”
