A smart new initiative aimed at supporting job seekers will also benefit Windsor's much loved hospice.

The Hatch Lane hospice's four charity stores in Windsor, Dedworth, Maidenhead and Wokingham have joined forces with TV fashion expert Amber Butchart to launch the 'dress to impress for £10' initiative from next Monday.

The shops will offer ideal interview outfits for only £10. The initiative aims to demystify what candidates should wear to an interview today, after research undertaken by the Debut careers app revealed that 72 percent of career hopefuls aged 16 to 23 did not know where to start.

Retail Director at Windsor's Thames Hospice Julie Rowley said: “We are excited to be a part of this campaign as it will raise awareness of our stores while making a difference to our customers’ lives too. We receive some fantastic donations across all our local stores that would make great interview attire, so the Dress to Impress section will be a real highlight for job seekers and anyone else who wears business attire that is looking for a bargain.”

The BBC’s Fashion Expert, Amber Butchart said: “The UK’s charity shops are brimming with hidden gems that are waiting to go from being pre-loved to re-loved and this campaign makes it easier to find them."
