SjW to play Cellar Bar: Listen to one of their tracks

A BRACKNELL rock band ill be playing a home town gig this month.

SjW will play The Cellar Bar at South Hill Park on Tuesday, September 27, as part of a six-week European tour to promote their third studio album Moments of Magnitude.

They will perform at venues in Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Holland, Denmark and Switzerland.

With no industry backing the band - formed in 2006 - are self sufficient, choosing to support their music by setting set up their own record label, White Dog Media, based in Bracknell.

Singer Simon White said: "We are really looking forward to hitting Europe with everything we've got. The new record has turned out great and we just want to play every show like it's the last."

Mitch Gasser (guitar) and Tom Price (drums) make up the rest of the three-piece.

Doors open at 7.30pm for the gig at the Cellar Bar on Tuesday September 27. Tickets cost £5, some avaliable on the door, and up-and-coming local bands will be supporting SjW.
