Steve Gifford has seen a meteoric rise in his popularity and wider public recognition, including airplay and positive feedback,appealing to a growing acoustic audience who enjoy self-styled individual songwriters.

His writing crosses over several genres such as Americana/folk rock/country, his influences include Ray Lamontagne,Tom Petty,Josh Ritter,Damien Rice, Eagles,James Taylor and acoustic singer songwriters of a similar style.

These days Steve tours with bass guitarist Ian Catchpole and Simon Ambrose on drums. The band formed in 2008 shortly after the album launch of the 3rd album "Boy On A Beach". This album was tremendously received and reached # 22 in the Euro Americana charts.It allowed the band to tour the UK between March and September that year.During this time Steve's 4th studio album "Ungodly Hour" was conceived, and finally released in February 2010. steveswg@aol.com
