Sandhurst face more frustration

SANDHURST Town have now played just six games in three months following the postponement of Tuesday's scheduled home clash against leaders North Greenford United.
The latest postponement because of a waterlogged pitch at Bottom Meadow means the Fizzers have not played since the 2-1 victory at Raynes Park Vale on February 10.
They have been without any games for successive Saturdays and will be hoping that this weekend's Combined Counties League trip to Ash United and then next Tuesday's home clash against Camberley Town can survive the wintry weather.
Fizzers boss Jon Underwood, who went to watch Camberley entertain Wembley on Tuesday night in one of the few games to take place, tried to remain philosophical about the continuing postponements.
He said: "The last four games have been called off now and we've played just six times in three months.
"We're actually not too bad as our pitch drains as well as any and we managed to rearrange some games earlier in the season after we got knocked out of a couple of cups.
"But some teams have played four or five games less than us so they're set for a really hectic end to the season.
"But there's not much we can do and all the teams are in the same boat."
Johnny Fisk will sit out the Ash game through suspension while Michael Murphy is also banned for both games.
Sandhurst received a blow this week with the news that skipper Darren Wilson looks set to miss the rest of the season.
Wilson has barely featured for the Fizzers this season because of a persistent knee injury and the club captain has now been advised to have keyhole surgery in a bid to clear out some of the loose cartilage.
