Adam Jones should return for Datchet.
THE mercurial Tim Alldis helped inspire Datchet to a three wicket victory over newly promoted Eversley in an entertaining match.
Hosts, Eversley raced to 120-1 in the first 20 overs and continued to plunder runs with even the reliable James Dick unable to stem the flow of runs.
Australian Rhys Jones hit an unbeaten 107 and with some good support from Ben Saville (90) the Baggy Greens made it up to 268-4 when they generously declared after 47 overs. Alldis and the promising Sam Finn both claimed a brace of wickets.
Tilley was involved in the run out of Mark george before he snicked one behind as Datchet were reduced to 23-2.
However, Alldis made 101 and together with Tom Jones who hit a swashbuckling 50, they sent the visitors on their way to victory with both playing with freedom during an excellent partnership.
Eversley were given hope as the pair were removed but Datchet held it together with contributions from Arun Oram, Luke Shepherd, Doug McDermott and James Lambert to reach 269-8 with just five balls to spare.
Datchet are expected to welcome back Adam Jones for Saturday's clash at home to Cove twos.
