SANDHURST's annual pre-season visit to Devon proved fruitful once again as they won the Hayden Rollasson Memorial Trophy for the fourth time.

The annual tournament is organised by Sidbury United FC and former Fizzers manager Mel Coombs in memory of one of their players.

The Fizzers beat Seaton Town FC, who were promoted to the Devon and Exeter Premier League, 4-3 in a closely-fought final.

Dan Simmonds opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the first minute. Vinny Bond then struck home on eight minutes with Simmonds adding to his tally on 15 minutes to make it 3-0.

Sandhurst's early domination then faded as Seaton worked their way back into the game securing a penalty on 30 minutes and making it two just before the break.

The second half was a thoroughly entertaining affair with both sides playing attractive end to end football.

Seaton equalised from a corner on 80 minutes but the Fizzers snatched a late winner courtesy of a Lee Gooch header in the 89th minute.

The Fizzers are back in action against Bracknell Town FC at Bottom Meadow on Saturday (KO 3pm) followed by Fleet Town on Tuesday at 7.45pm.
