WOKINGHAM and Emmbrook launch their pre-season campaign at Hungerford Town this Saturday as they prepare for life in the Hellenic League Premier Division (3pm ko).
The Satsumas clinched promotion from Division One East last term and boss Wayne Waynklyn has been strengthening his squad over the summer.
Striker Adam Cornell - who lists Hayes and Yeading, Camberley Town and Bracknell Town among his former teams - plus former Finchampstead duo Tom Hopper and goalkeeper Nick Rumsby are among those on board
Assistant manager Roger Herridge said: "We've had over 30 lads in training plus some new faces because it's important to freshen things up.
"Most importantly, we have a really good bond in the dressing room. A lot of local boys are here and the team spirit is excellent so I'll be very disappointed if any leave - and I don't think they will.
"We also have a strong reserves side and a lot of players from there will be pushing for the first-team."
