IF you were looking to sate a large and varied musical appetite last week, then you'd need not have looked further than DoubleDotBash at South Street Arts Centre and RISC in Reading.

First performed in the 1970s, it was hardly surprising that the plot of Dave Freeman's farce frequently echoed the humour of those days, yet have we really become more sophisticated? After watching the show I decided that I haven't. Give me this sort of entertainment instead of much of the so-called humour that is currently on offer.
