A WOKINGHAM woman was targeted by a flasher while she was walking in Reading at night.

The 40-year-old woman was walking along Napier Road in Reading at 10.15pm on Friday, July 9 when the man appeared from some bushes near office buildings and exposed himself. She shouted at him and he walked off.

The man is described as being white, thin and aged 25-35 with short, spiky, fair hair. He wore round glasses and a blue T-shirt.

PC Jamie Foster, from Reading police area, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident or a man matching the description of the offender acting suspiciously.

"It may well be that someone else was approached by this man in this way but didn't report it. I would urge anyone who was approached by this man, or saw someone fitting the description in the Napier Road area at the time of the incident to contact me."

Contact PC Foster via 0845 8 505 505 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
