Pipe leak at flat and shop

THE cold weather may have led to a pipe burst that leaked into a flat and the shop below.

Firefighters from Egham were called to Morley Hardware in Trumps Green Road, Virginia Water, where a leak was coming from the loft of the flat above.

They shut off the water and electricity and covered up electrical equipment in the shop to stop it getting wet. They were called out at 2.45pm today (Saturday) and were there for half an hour. There was no one in the flat at the time.
