NEW facilities will make life easier for pupils.
Englefield Green Infant School has built a disabled toilet and shower room at the cost of £10,000.
Half of this was paid for by the school and the remainder by Proctor and Gamble. The company was invited to the ribbon cutting on January 10.
Some of the children who attend the Barley Mow Road school have special needs and the new toilet and shower room will give them access to easier-to-use facilities.
Acting headteacher Jane Pells said: "It's so lovely to have it and we want to say a big thank you to Proctor and Gamble. This means that children can have access to education; we can use the facilities to make their lives at the school more comfortable.
"In the past if anything happened they had to be sent home, but this makes it much easier for the staff."
The school is planning other improvements including a community kitchen, funded by events organised by the PTA.
