High-flying writer
LIFE in the skies has been captured between the covers of a book by a pilot who has flown the rich and famous.
Anita Mays has had many unique adventures during her career, from coping with turbulence when The Rolling Stones were on board to freighting a Second World War bomber, a Mitchell B25, across the Atlantic.
Now she has chronicled all her weird and wonderful experiences in a book - Flygirl
Adventures: An Autoflyography, which was released at the end of last year.
The 50-year-old, who lives in Sunninghill, said: "It is a celebration of the aeroplane, flight and of the beautiful natural wonders I've seen from the cockpit."
Miss Mays would be happy to meet anyone who would like a copy of her book to speak with them about her experiences. Email her on anitakmays@gmail.com or call 07711 197555 to find out more or buy a copy.
