A BEAUTIFUL private garden will be open to enthusiasts on Sunday (July 25) to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Research.

Paul Morrow, a professional garden designer and flower arranger, invites members of the public to view the gardens at his home, Boxwood House in Sunninghill, as part of the National Garden Scheme.

Mr Morrow said: "A lot of love and hard work has gone into creating this garden and there are a lot of interesting plants that are looking good at this time of year." The garden (pictured), created from scratch over the last 16 years that Mr Morrow has lived at Boxwood, is in a woodland setting. It includes herbaceous perennials, topiary, a woodland garden, a natural pond and a 'hot' garden full of brightly-coloured flowers.

Boxwood House is in Heathfield Avenue, Sunninghill, and will be open to the public from 2-6pm. Admission is £3 and children are free. Dogs are not permitted. Car parking is at Lynwood in Rise Road.
