EXHILARATING acrobats were too hot to handle at a scintillating celebration of Asian arts, music and culture.

The nimble footed Kawa Circus rolled up to the Fusion Asia Bracknell (FAB) festival in South Hill Park on Sunday which drew in more than 3,000 people from all nationalities.

The five member crew, visiting from Jaipur, North India, on their two month British tour, wowed the crowd with amazing acrobatics, magic tricks and a spine tingling tightrope walk between two 20ft bamboo canes.

Tour manager Sean Whitehouse said: "We've had a fantastic response. There's people here from all backgrounds and they've absolutely loved it."

Other activities at the festival included Indian and Indonesian food stalls, arts and crafts and clothes stalls.

Musicians Dhol Foundation and Transglobal Underground lit up the main stage fusing bhangra, hip hop, reggae and alternative world music.

Later on 4x4 Bhangra Dancers and Moulin Rouge Fusion led a brightly coloured show.

Event organiser Jaswinder Singh said: "We wanted to bring cultures together and focus on Asian influence on British culture.

"It's been excellent and people have been so willing to integrate and participate."

Angela Hewitt, from Harmans Water, went with her daughters Bethany, 12, Lauren, seven, and Grace, four.

Angela said: "We've been doing bag painting and facepainting and enjoying the sunshine. It's been very lively and it brought people together from different cultures."

Bracknell Forest Mayor Cllr Ian Leake said: "This is another example of how the various communities in Bracknell can get together to explore their ethnicity and appreciate their lifestyles."
