Rotarians rally for funds

A CHARITY collection has raised more than £600 to help eradicate polio.

Rotary clubs from Easthampstead, Crowthorne and Sandhurst and Wokingham collected in the Market Place, Wokingham, for funds to go towards their campaign to stop polio from spreading.

Wokingham town mayor cllr UllaKarin Clark joined the charity fundraisers at the collection.

Dan Walters, from Easthampstead Rotary Club, said: "The money will go towards the campaign to erase polio, so we are quite pleased about that."
