EMERGENCY services including the air ambulance were called out after a car was seen sinking in a quarry lake.

Rescuers were worried that people may have been inside the vehicle but police now believe that it was empty.

Police and the air ambulance were called out at 3.30pm to Finchampstead Quarry off Longwater Road.
