A WOMAN feared for her life when she was set upon by a pair of thugs.
The 60-year-old, who was attacked outside her Sunningdale home, was punched in the face and thrown into the middle of a road in the terrifying attack that left her with a broken wrist.
The attack, which happened following an incident on the A30, also left her with bruising and swelling to her face. The woman, who does not wish to be named, said: 'It all started because a gang of youths were throwing water bombs at cars just past Waitrose on the A30, one of which was my daughter"s. She came to my house and told me the bombs had smashed one of the headlights to which I told her to ring the police.
'As she was doing that, I saw two youths walk past and kick her car door leaving a dent and my daughter told me they were the same youths throwing the bombs.'
The woman confronted the teenagers outside her home in Silwood Road at around 6.40pm on Saturday, May 30, expecting to get a mouthful of abuse but instead was viciously attacked.
She added: 'It was terrifying. They belted me around the face and then shoved me in the road.
'If my daughter hadn"t run out of the house when she did I could have been run over and wouldn"t be here today.
'These people are nothing but bullies and cowards.'
Both youths are white, aged 17-18, about 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall and slim, and walked off towards Larch Avenue.
The teenager who kicked the car and attacked the woman has short blond hair, was wearing a white shirt and beige three-quarter length shorts and had a square, black bag over his shoulder.
The other has dark hair, spiky on top and longer at the sides. He was wearing a red shirt with a white T-shirt underneath and three-quarter length shorts.
A police spokesman said: 'Unfortunately no arrests have yet been made but we are still investigating the incident.'
