Zappas could be a cut above

A HAIRDRESSING business has been nominated for four industry awards.

Staff at Zappas salon in Wokingham were nominated at the British Hairdressing Business Awards and will now compete against five other salons from across the country for the awards.

The salon has been nominated for Manager of the Year, the Marketing Award, Salon Design Award and the Training Award but will have to wait until a glitzy ceremony on Sunday, September 27 at Royal Lancaster Hotel in London to find out if they have won.

Steve Connell, managing director of Zappas which has salons in Wokingham and Crowthorne, said: "2009 has been an absolutely incredible year for Zappas and to be recognised amongst your peers for your business skills is a wonderful feeling.

"The nomination has created a real buzz among our team and all of our clients and is a fantastic achievement and honour - not only for ourselves, but for the salon team and business as a whole."
