FIREFIGHTERS tackled a bin and fence blaze this morning (Wednesday).

A woman alerted the crew from Bracknell at 4.30am after driving past the blaze in a resident's front garden in Terrace Road South, Binfield, opposite the Roebuck pub.

Firefighters were there for 20 minutes and the damage was contained to the bin and the fence.

Crew manager Scott Pay said the fire was not being treated as suspicious and they believe something in the bin may have started the fire.
