A FOUR-year-old is desperate to be united with his beloved teddy, lost in Bracknell.

Kieron Drewett was visiting his grandmother Margaret Hambleton from Wildridings when he lost Piglet, who was given to him as a present for his first Easter.

Kieron’s mum Suzy, 31, who realised the toy was missing when they prepared to go back home to Basingstoke on Wednesday [18] last week, said: “They are pretty inseparable. Kieron was fine to start with, then as we were thinking of going and couldn’t find him, he was getting more and more tearful and then last night was a complete nightmare trying to get him to bed.

“We are just hoping that maybe a child has picked him up or something. I was trying to think, ‘If I found something, where would I put it?’.”

The family retraced their steps around Princess Square shopping centre, The Point and Skimped Hill but could not find Piglet.

They are appealing for anyone who has found him to get in touch via the News on 01344 456611 or news@bracknellnews.co.uk. Mrs Drewett said: “I hope there’s a happy ending.”
