Fun activities are on offer to keep boredom at bay during the summer holidays:
n Bracknell Forest Council has also organised a free wild play swing, climb and spin session for all ages from 10am-noon on Wednesday next week in Westmorland Drive, Warfield.
* A bug hunt will be held from 2-4pm on Tuesday, August 10, at Longhill Park, Winkfield. To book places at all Bracknell Forest events, call 01344 354411.
* People are welcome to bring dogs on leads to the Paws In The Park free event at Lily Hill Park, Bullbrook from 11am-4pm on Saturday for competitions, games and information. For further events, see www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/parks
* Bracknell Forest Homes (BFH) housing association is working with Bracknell Forest Council and the Oakwood Youth Challenge outdoor pursuits centre to provide adventurous and arty events for eight to 19-year-olds.
Free transport and lunch will be provided for teens aged 13-19 for visits to Oakwood on Tuesday next week and on Tuesday, August 24.
* During the week beginning Monday, August 23, Play Rangers and a local artist will help youngsters aged eight to 13 make "Beasts of Bracknell" out of recycled materials in Owlsmoor, Great Hollands, Crown Wood and Wildridings.
The project has been funded by the council's youth services and the Lankelly Chase Foundation with support from Berkshire Women's Aid and the Play Rangers, which are funded by the BIG Lottery.

* Science and nature can be explored at the Look Out Discovery Centre in Nine Mile Ride, including the Slime Show, at 11am, noon, 2pm and 3.15pm, subject to numbers, until September 5.
* Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) has organised a Community Dance Day from 11am-2pm on Saturday in Charles Square.
* Free football coaching sessions for boys and girls aged 10 to 13 and 14 to 18 will be held at the Birch Hill Astroturf pitch from 2-5pm every Wednesday and Friday between July 28 and August 20. The FA Star Challenge sessions will be led by professional coach Wayne Barham and the programme is supported by Thames Valley Police and Bracknell Forest Council Youth Service. * Youngsters aged 11 upwards can join the fun at the youth club at Birch Hill Community Centre, Leppington, 7-9pm every other Friday.
