New-look hospice to be unveiled
THAMES Hospicecare in Ascot will re-open its doors on November 4 after undergoing refurbishment works to upgrade the service it offers to patients.
The new layout will allow terminally ill patients to take full use of the range of activities, complementary therapies and support services that will now be available.
The mayor of the Royal Borough, Cllr Catherine Bursnall will attend the event along with Penelope Bevan-Rahming, founder of the original Paul Bevan hospice that became Thames Hospicecare Ascot.
The ribbon will be cut at the hospice in Kings Ride on Thursday, November 4 at 3pm.
