Police have issued an update after a stabbing saw a man rushed to hospital.
On Friday, April 26, the people of Slough woke up to a crime scene where police and forensics were working on collecting evidence.
At 4:40am that morning police received reports that a man had been stabbed, with Thames Valley Police making five arrests.
Behind a police cordon was a trail of blood, which had been marked out in chalk, around belongings which were strewn across the pavement.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of an assault with injury at around 4.40am in High Street, Slough.
“The victim, a man in his forties, suffered a stab wound, and was taken to hospital but has since been discharged."
Five men were arrested on suspicion of Section 18 GBH with intent.
In an update from police on Monday, April 29, a police spokesperson said: "All men arrested have been released on conditional bail."
