A man who brandished an axe against a neighbour and attacked him following a noise dispute has had his sentencing date delayed.
Grant White, 53, of Amberley Road, Slough, was convicted of assault by beating following a trial in March.
This was in connection with an incident on November 2, 2021.
White beat a neighbour after they came to complain about him playing loud music at his home address.
Prior to this, he had produced an axe against the man - allegedly because he took issue with the neighbour's "temperament."
At trial, White denied ever intending to use the axe.
He was due to be sentenced at Reading Crown Court today (April 17).
However, Judge Matthew Turner delayed this hearing until May 8.
