A MAN in his 60s was threatened at knifepoint outside Aldi in Slough.
Thames Valley Police received a report of an attempted robbery at about 11am on Saturday, March 16.
Aman in his 60s, was outside Aldi on Farnham Road, when he was approached by a man who was not known to him.
The suspect attempted to steal the victim’s bike. The suspect then pulled out a knife and attempted to stab the victim.
The victim defended himself, and the suspect left on his own red bike.
Police said the victim suffered a cut to the hand, but did not require hospital treatment.
The offender is described as a white man, approximately 5ft 11inch tall and of skinny build.
He was wearing light blue skinny jeans, a blue zip up jacket, a blue baseball cap, black trainers with white soles and he was carrying a dark blue rucksack.
He was clean-shaven and spoke with a clear English accent. He had a tattoo on the right side of his neck which looked like writing.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Bethany Neville, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to this attempted robbery, or anyone with information which could help our investigation, to please come forward.
