A man has been found guilty of beating his neighbour during a noise dispute.
A jury at Reading Crown Court has returned the verdict against Grant White, 53, of Amberley Road in Slough in a hearing yesterday (March 11).
The defendant was cleared on further charges of racially-aggravated assault by beating and causing racially-aggravated fear or provocation of violence.
The conviction comes after a week-long trial, during which the court heard of a dispute involving White and a neighbour on November 2, 2021.
The incident occurred around midnight when White's neighbour went to his home to complain of him playing loud music - and was subsequently assaulted.
Judge Matthew Turner set a sentencing date in the case for April 17.
