Clarissa Parker and Rifat Khan of Slough BID said: "From cozy cafes to trendy bistros, Slough high street has become a culinary haven for food enthusiasts of all kinds."

In recognition of the eateries working hard to serve Slough locals and visitors, the BID has given a special shout-out to six restaurants in the town centre - all of which have a five out of five hygiene rating.

Slough BID added: "The attainment of a five-star food hygiene rating is a milestone of distinction, signalling the unwavering commitment of these eateries to prioritise the health and wellbeing of their patrons."

Mori Japanese Restaurant

Offering an exquisite medley of traditional flavours and contemporary culinary artistry, the restaurant can be found at 70 High Street.

Each dish is meticulously crafted, paying homage to Japan’s rich culinary heritage while embracing modern innovation and creativity.

House Of Chaat

A delightful culinary venture that emerged in 2020, having been founded by a family originally from Uganda.

Their vision was to bring together a diverse array of Asian street food under one roof.

The older generation behind this endeavour had previously launched and successfully operated a sister restaurant for the past 10 years.

You can find them just below Tesco on Brunel Road.

Little Lahore

Specializing in bringing that DESI spice to life, reviews praise the restaurant for being the "best in the area".

They are found on William Street in Slough.

Kabul Palace

Established in 2015 Kabul Palace is a Afghani and Persian restaurant located in the heart of Slough.

They offer a wide range of traditional flavours and their menu offers a wide variety of great tasting dishes and desserts, including the famous Qabikli Palow, Charcoal Grilled BBQ Mixed Grill and Afghan Sheer Yakh.
