A popular TikToker known for satirical videos that review towns in the southeast - and frankly can tear them apart - has posted his latest clip after a visit to yet another Berkshire location.

Showcasing a quiet Maidenhead high street, creator Rob Colfer asked shoppers brutal questions about the town.

The now-well-recognised social media sensation dubbed Maidenhead as 'Maidendead' as he began his latest guide.

He opened: “Im in a town that sounds like something my viewers will never get. Yeah that's right I'm in Maidenhead but it should be called Maidendead cause it's the driest place in the southeast.

"It's also got the Lizzie line [Elizabeth line] which is only good for getting out of here but then again you could end up in Slough."

Rob then asked shoppers if they can name two good things about Maidenhead.

One person said: "McDonald's is good, that's why we're here."

Another answered: "The shops, McDonald's."

One man said: "There's about six subways and f*** all else."

He then asked a man sitting on a bench if Maidenhead is "going downhill, or up and coming?"

The shopper answered: "It's definitely going downhill. I can't think of anything really that bad about Maidenhead."

Despite some of the hateful comments, we'd like to explain why we think Maidenhead is actually one of the best places to live in the south-east.

Ray Mill Island

In Maidenhead town there's a gorgeous walk called Boulter's Lock.

Once you get past the feisty geese, you're bound to enjoy a peaceful walk or picnic by the gorgeous river.

A great place for families with picnic tables and benches, and in the summer there's a café open.

Maidenhead Waterside Quarter

The newly developed part of town has a number of unique restaurants and bars.

You've got authentic Italian eateries to a family run tap room called Hoppy Place.

Maidenhead is becoming so much more than it used to be and is great for socialising with friends.

Norden Farm Arts Centre

From yoga lessons, art and crafts to Elton John tribute nights and top of the class theatre productions, you're bound to have a good time at this arts centre.
