IT IS 10 years since keen photographer Derek Reay published a book containing pictures of key people who made Windsor tick.

This year he returned to the subject and persuaded a number of them to pose again for his new book Windsor People Revisited.

Some of his resulting photo-portraits adorned the boards fronting the rebuilding work going at York House - creating an attractive backdrop when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding procession passed by in the summer.

Now the new photos are on display at the Old Court art centre in St Leonard's Road, Windsor - and several of those who posed on both occasions came along specially to launch the exhibition.

A lot has changed in 10 years.

Mr Reay, who lives in Burfield Road, Old Windsor, said: "There is much more security now. I noticed that more people had to ask permission from a higher authority when I photographed them this time. It is understandable, especially with army personnel."

Future generations will be grateful to Mr Reay for capturing the people who have made a famous tourist town tick in the first two decades of the 21st century.
