RESIDENTS of a Sunninghill care home boogied the afternoon away at its first ever tea dance.

Ascot Grange care home held the Spring Tea Dance in association with Cordes Hall, welcoming members of the local community along to have a dance and enjoy a spot of tea and cake.

The hall was decked out with bunting, while the food table was piled high with scones, cakes, and cups of tea and coffee.

Residents from the home's sister sites in Marlow and Hindhead also joined in the festivities, with entertainment provided by concert pianist Mark Bussell who had attendees on the dancefloor for almost two hours.

General Manager David Taylor said “It is very important for us here at Ascot Grange to ensure that our residents feel part of the local community but also that we give back to the local community who have fully embraced us since we opened last year – this event is just one of a few we have planned for 2018, keep an eye open for our Summer Fayre and BBQ in July.”
