THE ARTISTIC excellence of an 11 year-old will see her drawing draped over a winning race horse.
This Autumn Ascot Racecourse called on Berkshire's budding artists to recreate their favourite firework moment, horse racing memory or the colours of autumn.
Taking the top spot was Naomi Davies, aged 11, who triumphed with her depiction of a Chestnut champion mid-jump as Ascot’s annual Fireworks Spectacular illuminates the skyline in the background.
Her masterpiece will be displayed on screens around the racecourse during the Fireworks Spectacular Family Raceday on Saturday, November 4 and turned into a rug and worn by the winning horse of the Sodexo Gold Cup Steeple Chase.
Coming in a close second was Imogen Tacon, aged 13, with her Jumps racing and fireworks masterpiece, beautifully framed with autumnal leaves.
A joint effort, Shay Smith and Ava Smith, aged 10 and 5, came in third place with their colourful fireworks and family time inspired creation.
