A MAN is in a serious condition in hospital after two HGVs were in collision on Wednesday morning, September 13.
The heavy-goods vehicles collided on the A319 between the Clappers Lane junctions at around 3.30am in Chobham.
One of the drivers was seriously injured and was trapped in his vehicle following the crash. He was freed and taken to St George's Hospital, London by ambulance, Surrey Police said. The driver of the second vehicle was uninjured.
Police worked alongside Surrey Fire & Rescue and the Air ambulance and the road was fully open by 8.30am.
