THESE people may hold vital clues relating to a GBH incident in Ascot.
At approximately 9.30pm on Saturday August 6, a 30-year-old man was assaulted by two other males close to the ticket office of Ascot Racecourse.
The victim received serious eye injuries and was taken to Frimley Park and Guildford Hospital. He has since been discharged.
The first offender is described as a boy aged about 16, while the second is thought to be an older man, possibly in his 30s.
Thames Valley Police have released these CCTV images (above) of a group of people who may have witnessed the episode.
Investigating officer Det Con Amanda Winterbourne, of Force CID based at Reading police station, condemned the crime as a nasty attack.
She said: "This has understandably left the victim traumatised and with serious injuries which may result in possible lasting visual impairment.
“I would like to talk to anyone who may have any information which they think could help our investigation into this incident."
