THE Rotary Club of Ascot staged a very successful quiz night at Cheapside Village Hall on Saturday July 16.
The society raked in £1,145 in aid of a free medical camp in Northern Jaffna, Sri Lanka, that it has been organising with a partner Rotary branch in the area.
The camp gives free basic treatment, medicines and health checkups for adults and children in war-torn Jaffna.
Teams were also treated to a fish and chip supper during the evening.
Huge thanks are due on behalf of the Rotary Club to all organisers, helpers on the night, attendees and everyone who chipped in to make the event a financial success.
