AN ASCOT girls' school is holding its next termly open morning on Saturday May 21.

Heathfield School in London Road will be holding the event between 10am and midday.

The girls’ school offers day and boarding places for 11-18 year olds.

Day pupils were successfully trialled for the first time this academic year and day places are still available for September 2016.

The school is known for its academic success, with every girl getting into her first choice of university last year, with over 40 per cent of those going to a Russell Group university.

In the next academic year, a fifth of Heathfield girls will be applying to Oxford or Cambridge.

Durham University also recently ranked Heathfield in the top 17 per cent of schools nationwide.

The school has won five Good Schools Guide Awards in a row for best performance in art and design (photography) A Level and a progression partnership with the prestigious London College of Fashion at the University of the Arts London.

This year it opened a state of the art new STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) facility, officially launched by Lord Robert Winston.

Entry is at 11+, 13+ and 16 and bursaries are available including an armed forces discount and academic, art, music, drama and sport scholarships are also available.
