THE Met Office are warning residents to 'be aware' as heavy rain sweeps across the region.
A yellow alert is in place for Slough, the Royal Borough and the majority of Berkshire, urging people to take extra care when out and about.
The alert is in place for 12.30pm through to midnight tonight (Tuesday).
The Met Office say: "We warn the public and emergency responders of severe or hazardous weather which has the potential to cause danger to life or widespread disruption through our National Severe Weather Warning Service."
