SUPPORTERS of Windsor’s hospice are invited to take part in this year’s Santa Dash.

The annual event which raises money for Thames Hospice in Hatch Lane will be taking place at Swinley Forest, on the Crown Estate, on Sunday, November 29, from 9am.

Registration is now open and the organisers hope to create the biggest "sea of Santas" Berkshire has ever seen. The much-loved 5k Santa Dash is open to people of all ages and abilities and dogs are particularly welcome.

Neil Harman, Director of Fundraising at Thames Hospice, said: “We want you to help us transform Swinley Forest into a sea of Santas.The Santa Dash is fun. It’s festive and by signing up and raising sponsorship, you’ll be ensuring we can continue to deliver expert care to our patients and their loved ones, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, now and in the future.”

Hardier participants can cycle a 10k or 15k route or even do therun and cycle as well.

Over 16s can sign up to run, walk or cycle for £20 and it costs £10 for children. Under fives go free. It costs £30 to run and cycle. To sign up, and for special early bird registration fees, visit thameshospice.org.uk/santadash or call 01753 848947.

All registered adults will receive a Santa suit and goodie bag, whilest children get reindeer antlers and flashing noses. Plus, for a donation on the day, this year canine companions can don a special dog-friendly Santa suit.
